Role

The Human Resources Manager leads the HR function at the property, overseeing all HR-related activities and acting as a proactive, resourceful leader and collaborative team player. This role operates effectively in a fast-paced, diverse environment, maintaining flexibility, approachability, and efficiency under pressure. In partnership with the HR Director and the wider HR team, the HR Manager supports the development of a positive workplace culture while serving as a key partner to property leadership. The role also drives compliance, enhances employee engagement, and ensures operational excellence across the property.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of HR in establishing and implementing HR objectives and strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Execute HR strategies across talent acquisition, staffing, compensation, learning & development, succession planning, performance management, retention, and employee and union relations
  • Ensure the effective delivery of global HR initiatives (e.g., policies and procedures, engagement surveys, and recruitment programs) in line with directions from the Director of HR
  • Provide HR advice, guidance, and operational support to management, escalating where appropriate
  • Deliver general HR and L&D administrative and operational support across the property
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience
  • Coordinate employee welfare and benefits programs in alignment with company standards
  • Support the management and tracking of the HR budget
  • Generate HR reports and maintain accurate, up-to-date SOPs and documentation
  • Promote employee awareness and understanding of the company’s purpose and brand pillars

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Hospitality, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, including leadership in a luxury/hospitality setting
  • Experience supporting HR strategy in partnership with senior leadership
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions (recruitment, ER, L&D, performance)
  • Good understanding of local labor laws and compliance
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in MS Office; fluent in English (additional languages a plus)

Skills Required
