Job Summary:
The primary focus of the 2027 HR Intern will be to gain hands-on experience across various areas of Human Resources while supporting the HR team with day-to-day activities and projects. The intern will work with HR team members, people leaders, and employees to support recruiting, HR systems, compliance, and other HR initiatives. This internship will provide broad exposure to Human Resources while developing practical HR knowledge and professional skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gain exposure to various areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HR compliance, benefits, and HR operations
- Assist with day-to-day HR activities and projects that support employees and people leaders across the organization
- Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination, and other talent acquisition activities
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives designed to improve employee experience and HR processes
- Gain an understanding of employment laws, regulations, policies, and best practices applicable to the workplace
- Collaborate with HR team members, people leaders, and employees across the organization
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college with at least a 3.00 GPA
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or related areas of study
- Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Exhibits analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- These positions are required to be in-office, so candidates must have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
