Human Resources Intern: Employee Communications Insights & Readership Optimization

Summary:
The Employee Communications Insights & Readership Intern will study how employees consume and engage with internal communications and help test ways to improve readership and impact. This role focuses on analyzing communication metrics, identifying trends, and supporting experiments such as headline, format, or timing tests. The intern will translate data into clear insights and practical recommendations for HR and Communications leaders.
This internship is open to current college students and recent college graduates interested in analytics, communications strategy, or behavioral insights. The role requires strong self-motivation, collaboration, and time-management skills in a virtual environment.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze readership and engagement data across internal channels
- Support communication tests and pilot experiments
- Create concise insight summaries and visuals
Education Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently obtained Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Behavioral Insights, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Demonstrated academic success (minimum 3.0 GPA)
- Minimum academic standing of Sophomore
- Active enrollment in accredited university
Minimum Requirements
- Strong analytical skills; Excel/Sheets experience
- Comfort in remote collaboration and zoom meeting environments
- Ability to attend in-person meetings
- Internet Access: Candidates must have a stable wired Internet connection with a minimum download of 50 Mbps (megabits per second) for best performance. Wireless connectivity is also supported.
- Hardware: Osaic uses a program (VDI, Virtual Desktop Interface) which is a secure access portal to all required tools, software, and sites to conduct required work tasks. It provides software needed as well through the interface. Candidates must provide a personal computer, laptops preferable but not required, that has the most up-to-date Operating System and Drivers. Windows 11 or higher, Mac OS 14 (Sonoma) or higher. Hardware requirements are at least 4 CPUs, 8 Gb of RAM, 128 GB of storage with at least 2 GB of free space.
