GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories.
Employing more than 700 highly skilled local professionals and providing MRO services to more than 50 airlines worldwide, GEESM continues to exceed our customers’ expectations. With our technical expertise and pioneering spirit, we elevate the flying experience to new heights.
Role Overview:
1) Onboarding & Employee Operations:
New Hire Logistics: Coordinate logistics for orientation sessions, preparing standard documentation, welcome kits, and training schedules.
Database Maintenance: Keep the internal Human Resources Information System (HRIS) updated with accurate, highly confidential employee profiles
Record Audits: Maintain central digital filing systems to ensure absolute compliance with statutory labor regulations
Leave & Payroll Admin: Assist with gathering basic tracking data, including leaves, working hours, and medical certificates.
2) Employee Engagement & Culture:
Company Events: Support the logistical planning and promotion of internal team-building activities, town halls, and wellness programs.
Feedback Collection: Help distribute internal satisfaction pulse surveys and consolidate quantitative metrics into summary dashboards.
Policy FAQ Support: Direct initial employee inquiries regarding basic health benefits and company policies to the correct internal contacts.
3) Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by superior or management from time to time such as HR data reporting.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is Bachelor's undergrad who can commit to a minimum 12 weeks internship with a passion in Human Resources
Required Qualifications:
Students pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management/ Business Admin/ Psychology or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to start the internship as soon as possible is preferred.
