SUMMARY:
According to established policies and procedures, and under the supervision and guidance of the HR Operations Senior Manager, Human Resources Generalist supports the Firm’s HR operations by assisting with workforce inquiries, administering HR policies and procedures, coordinating core HR processes, and providing analysis and reporting to support compliance and strategic HR initiatives. This role supports and collaborates closely with Office and Department Leaders, and the HR team to ensure consistent application of HR practices and the effective delivery of HR services across the Firm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compliance
Assist with the administration of Firm human resources policies and procedures in the resolution of employee inquiries
Assist with required government reporting, including data compilation and analysis
Administer employment notice and mandated training processes
Conduct research and analysis of employment laws to support HR compliance initiatives
Reporting and analysis of HR data for internal stakeholders
Process Support and Administration
Administration and maintenance of new hire onboarding processes
Assist with the audit, development, and implementation of Firm HR procedures
Assist with and support performance management processes, including documentation, tracking, and system updates
Manage and maintain the HR intranet page
Oversee the Firm’s job description library, including the review, draft, and update new and existing job descriptions
Provide support for HR projects and programs
Provide support for the Summer BT Rise Internship Program
Provide support for business professional recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HRIS activities, as assigned
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience required
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in human resources, or a combination of experience and degree
Experience working in a legal/professional services environment is preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Experience navigating and using an HRIS or HCM
Strong Interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels within the firm
Superior attention-to-detail, critical thinking and strong analytical ability required to deliver and maintain high level strategic core HR services
Superior ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Demonstrated ability to professionally handle sensitive confidential matters and employee information
