Legislative interns support attorneys and lobbyists during the Indiana General Assembly session. Responsibilities include researching legislation and statutes, tracking bills and hearings, preparing client reports, newsletters, presentations, talking points, legislative alerts, and communications. Interns also assist with legislative events, client preparation, and proposal research. The role is full-time, on-site in Indianapolis, requires attendance at State House activities, and may involve evening hours.

Performs complex, high-volume legal billing activities, including preparing proformas, generating invoices, managing electronic billing setups and rejections, and handling discounts, rate exceptions, split billing, and insurance billing. Communicates with attorneys, staff, clients, and vendors; maintains billing instructions and records; analyzes time and fee data; supports billing training; and assists with general accounting duties while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities include creating web and internal content, newsletters, presentations, spreadsheets, and marketing materials; coordinating orientation and professional development programs; conducting market research; documenting mentoring best practices; maintaining bar licensure and CLE records; and gathering program feedback. The role is onsite and requires confidentiality, collaboration, proofreading, communication, and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Supports the firm's Information Security department through short- and long-term projects, including security initiative implementation, data input and analysis, process documentation, recordkeeping, meetings, and cross-department collaboration. The intern follows confidentiality requirements, develops business and cybersecurity knowledge, and performs administrative duties under supervision. This is a 10-week, onsite internship for an enrolled undergraduate student entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year.

Conduct legal research, writing, and analysis; manage client matters; collaborate with a trial-focused team; and demonstrate strong initiative and interpersonal skills. California Bar admission and six or more years of law firm litigation experience are required, along with strong academic credentials.

Prepares and files pleadings in California state and federal courts using PACER/ECF, manages case files and deadlines, coordinates document collection and production, and assists with drafting, deposition preparation, exhibits, and trial logistics. The role requires independent management of complex matters, strong organization, communication, research, and litigation support skills.
