The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for day to day administration of HR processes. This individual will also support the HR Management Team in the planning and implementation of programs/processes around employee relations/performance management, talent acquisition, talent management and organizational development. The Human Resources Generalist will provide skills and knowledge in the coordination and execution of local and global HR programs, and other initiatives as needed.
What You Need to Know:
•Provide frontline HR support for Orangeburg manufacturing facility
•Work with HR business partners and leadership teams to develop and execute initiatives that drive business strategies
• Facilitate process between employees and leadership to discuss and resolve performance and conduct issues
• Effectively support employee relations and encourage engagement
• Ensure Company procedures and policies are consistently and appropriately applied
• Support staffing & performance review plans that provide a well-trained and developed workforce
• Assist with any other corporate events as necessary
• Maintains I-9 documentation ensuring retention and destruction comply with Federal Laws.
What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or business field preferred or equivalent work work experience
• 1 -2 years’ experience in a Human Resources Generalist role with general knowledge of HR policies and practices, manufacturing environment a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Effectively interact with persons of all organizational levels
• Above average organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be flexible to handle interruptions is key
• Team oriented; able to balance team and individual responsibilities
• Strong problem solving skills – ability to identify issues and potential solutions
• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
• Proficiency in oral and written communication, excellent interpersonal skills
• Versatile problem solving and critical thinking ability
• Motivated to attend to detail and determined to produce results
• Focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to confront issues, manage competing interests, and negotiate compromise or build consensus without hostility
• Customer service focused, responding promptly to internal and external customer needs

• General knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Database management, intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
