- Experience in customer service related position
- Ability to work independently
- Able to multi-task and stay organized
- Ability to work Monday through Friday during office hours and work employee events
SUMMARY:
Performs functions in support of the HR Department by assisting the HR Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure and maintain confidentiality
- Answer telephones, type, file, fax and photocopy information
- Responsible for filing and maintaining files up to date
- Assist in updating and maintaining information for bulletin boards
- Distribute internal mail and / or forms to other department and offices
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and forms
- Assist with planning and coordination of all company events
- Maintain HR Calendar in Outlook with all company events
- Assist with employee reservations
- Create, update, and maintain employee benefit files
- Send enrollment emails as employees become eligible for benefits
- Maintain accurate data within the benefits enrollment system to ensure accurate coverage and billing
- Input employee hours weekly into Benefits Connect for ACA compliance
- Administration of HSA contributions
- Assist with applicants and general employment needs
- Assist with inputting all employee information into ADP such as personal data, compensation, attendance, terminations, and any other employee change
- Issue employee name tags, business cards and Salto keys
- Assist with the processing of employment applications, new hires, terminations, personnel changes, and other employment activities
- Communicate all new hires and terminations to IT in order for them to be added/deleted from Outlook distributions lists
- Administer all background checks and drug test through First Choice
- Create and maintain employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses
- Assist in new employee orientation and participates with Benefits Information
- Prepare and mail employee birthday and anniversary cards monthly
- Prepare Benefit Enrollment Packages and process Benefits Enrollment form as requirement
- Provide necessary information and assistance to employees
- Attend HR related functions, meetings, training, and informational seminars for the benefit of the Hotel
- Attend department meetings
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
