Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join the Audio Video Division in Shenzhen China. As a Legrand AVD HR Generalist, you will be responsible for recruitment, training, HR system maintenance, talent development initiatives, and business travel supporting and other necessary support tasks from the Company management. 

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing:

  • Independent in organizing the recruitment procedure, including posting jobs, screening and sourcing resumes, recommending to related hiring managers and arranging interview. 
  • Complete the hiring process, including checking candidate background, issuing Employment Offer as per authorized approval until new hires on boarding. 
  • Arrange new employee check-in procedures from document verification to system account setup (e.g., computer, email, SAP) and employment contract preparation. 
  • Supervise staff exit procedure, guide and monitor the handing over to ensure the whole exit procedure goes forward and consists with Company interest.

Training & Talent Development:

  • Provide orientation training for new employees, keep the training resource updated timely.
  • Organize internal training and outsource training program as per department’s budget.
  • Support implementation of talent development and succession planning initiatives, including identifying high-potential employees, coordinating development programs, and assisting with career path discussions.

HR System Maintenance and daily operations:

  • Maintain and update the HR system in a timely manner to reflect all employee status changes, including new hires, internal transfers, promotions, and separations. 
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HR system and support periodic reporting as needed. 
  • Conduct process for probation review, contract renewal with necessary expiration reminders to management, and prepare contract as per authorized approval.

Provide supporting for Business travelers:

  • Coordinate all business trips for travelers of China office and Hong Kong office, and USA visitors or/and customers for domestics or international flight ticket, hotel and transportation arrangement. 
  • Assist the visa application for various countries, including travel visa or permit certificate etc. that based on business needed. 

Ad hoc programs supporting:

  • Support HR Manager and finish any duties that are assigned by Management. 
  • Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.
     
Qualifications

Education: 

  • Minimum College or university degree with 3 years of working experience related to Human Resource or Business management experience.

Skills and Experiences:

  • Excellent in Mandarin, good in English listening, writing, reading and speaking, CET 4 above level.
  • Good presentation & communication skills (verbally and written).
  • Ability to work independently and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Service excellence, team player, and quick learner.
  • Proficient in the use of AI tools, computers, internet and MS Office suite of software.
  • Ability to communicate in Cantonese is an advantage.
