Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain HR systems and processes
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment, maintaining high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Promote adherence to our mission, values, and culture within the workplace.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on employee relations issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure the confidentiality and security of all employee data.
  • Update and maintain certifications for all employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of human resource management experience is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
  • Excellent record keeping and documentation skills.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Experience in the field of healthcare, particularly behavioral health, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
