Responsibilities1. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits:
• Support monthly payroll preparation by ensuring accurate employee data, attendance, leave records and payroll inputs.
• Coordinate statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, Form E and other government-related submissions.
• Assist in administering employee insurance, medical benefits and other company benefit programmes.
• Liaise with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
2. HR Operations & Administration :
• Manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with company policies and local labour regulations.
• Manage HR documentation, employee records and maintain accurate HR databases.
• Prepare and issue HR-related documentation, including employment letters, confirmation letters, memos, disciplinary letters and other official correspondence.
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs and HR best practices aligned with organizational and legal requirements.
• Ensure employee files and HR documentation are maintained accurately and confidentially
3. Expatriate Management:
• Support all expatriate-related HR matters including Employment Pass applications, renewals, visa processing, dependent passes, cancellations, and related documentation.
• Liaise with government agencies and external vendors to ensure timely processing and compliance.
• Provide onboarding support for expatriate employees and their relocation requirements
4. HR Analytics & Reporting:
• Generate, analyze, and present HR reports and dashboards on key HR metrics including headcount, turnover, recruitment, absenteeism, performance, and engagement.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor HR KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement
5. Onboarding:
• Develop and enhance onboarding programs for seamless integration of new hires into the company culture and operations.
• Coordinate orientation sessions and provide necessary resources for a smooth onboarding experience.
6. Employee Engagement:
• Design and implement engagement initiatives, conduct surveys, and gather feedback to enhance the overall employee experience.
• Organize events, activities, and recognition programs to promote a positive work environment and employee morale.
7. Employer Branding Support:
• Collaborate with talent acquisition to support employer branding efforts by highlighting the company's culture, values, and unique offerings.
8. Ad Hoc HR Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of additional HR tasks and projects as required, which may fall outside of typical duties. These responsibilities may include assisting with special HR initiatives, providing support for urgent or unforeseen matters, and contributing to cross-functional projects as needed. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to address the dynamic needs of the business and HR team.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field
• Working knowledge with an experience of at least 3 – 5 Years in multiple human resources elements with strong understanding in HR Operations, Payroll ,Employee Relations and Performance Management.
• Proficiency in Oracle HCM preferred but we strongly prioritise candidates with payroll-processing experience in any HRMS platform.
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with Malaysian statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and Form E
• Experience managing expatriate employment matters including work permits and Employment Passes is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for video game industry a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field
