In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Employment Coordinator is responsible coordinating the employment process, assists with the recruitment of employees and other related human resource duties. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.


Job Functions:

  1. Handles routine employment issues, referring difficult cases to HR Specialists and acts as a liaison.
  2. Coordinates the internal and external employment process.
  3. Coordinates the hiring and on-boarding process.
  4. Coordinates the on-boarding process of contracted personnel.
  5. Effectively communicates department, hospital, and health system information to employees.
  6. Regularly evaluates the quality of services provided and recommends changes to HR Director when appropriate.
  7. Completes special projects as assigned by HR Specialists, HR Supervisor, or HR Director.
  8. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

  • Associate’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
  • Will consider high school diploma with minimum of three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a human resource department in lieu of degree.

Special Knowledge, Skills, Training:

  • General knowledge of interviewing, benefit administration and employee relation issues.

Compensation Details:  Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
