Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Director to join our team! This full time exempt-level position provides Human Resources support, including payroll, benefits and recruitment management, as well as the ongoing support and development of a quality workforce. This is a one-person department, with dotted line accountability to Corporate Office in Overland Park, KS.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and processes bi-weekly payroll
- Assists with the development and implementation of services, policies and programs for staff
- Assists facility directors and staff with all Human Resources related issues
- Manages the recruiting and staffing function
- Maintains facility online education system (CE Solutions)
- Prepares, communicates and monitors the performance evaluation process for employees
- Processes FMLA and other leaves of absence requests, including ADA accommodations
- Administers employee benefits plans; reviews monthly billings for accuracy
Planning and Time Utilization:
- Demonstrate the ability to set and establish priorities, manage time efficiently.
- Must be able to work under pressure and with interruptions.
- Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and be an independent, accountable, dependable performer.
- Effective planning, organizational and detail-oriented skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly.
- May be required to work occasional extended and/or weekend hours.

- Occasional travel to other Communities and/or corporate office may be required.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education, preferably with an emphasis in Human Resources Management or Business, and/or a minimum of 2 years’ broad HR experience.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CPP would be a plus.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft products as well as HRIS advanced user skills; Paycom experience much preferred.
