The HR Coordinator provides high-quality administrative and operational support across Human Resources processes and services for the Anoka sites. This role serves as an important point of contact for employees, leaders, and internal partners and helps ensure HR processes are completed accurately, timely, and confidentially. The HR Coordinator supports employee lifecycle activities, payroll and timekeeping processes, onboarding and orientation, HR communications, recordkeeping, audits, and HRIS transactions while contributing to a positive employee experience and strong service culture.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:Support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes, including new hire onboarding, orientation coordination, employee documentation, and general HR transactions.
Serve as a primary front-line HR contact for employees, supervisors, and internal partners by answering questions, providing guidance, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Support payroll, timekeeping, and absence-related processes, including tracking, follow-up, and coordination with supervisors and payroll partners.
Prepare, maintain, and audit employee records and HR documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
Contribute to HR projects, standard work documentation, and process improvements that help scale support across the site.
Support site HR initiatives and engagement activities that improve employee experiences grow successful teams and reinforce our values and culture.
Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for employee questions.
Support HR alignment by collaborating with HR teams across the business to drive consistent execution of HR services.
Associate's Degree minimally required in HR or related.
At least some experience in HR, 2+ years experience preferred.
A dynamic, energetic, reliable, and self-starting approach to work.
Demonstrated planning, organization, and time management skills.
The ability to build rapport and credibility with employees at all levels.
HRIS system experience preferred; experience in Workday or similar platforms is highly desirable; MS Office proficiency required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in employee relations, including fact-finding, managing conflicts, and developing win/win solutions, is desired.
Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Ability to work onsite daily in Anoka, MN between 8am-5pm.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
