As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department across key areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administration. You’ll be the first point of contact for many HR-related inquiries, helping to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do- Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment requirements (background and reference checks, offers).
- Assist with onboarding new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, preparing paperwork, and helping to enhance the new hire experience.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Manage HR documentation such as contracts, policies, and procedures, and generate reports and metrics as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries on HR-related policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, activities, and events to support a positive workplace culture.
- Stay current on labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR processes align with compliance requirements.
- Support the HR team with training program coordination, tracking employee development, and other special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role (HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar).
- Strong understanding of HR functions, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Compensation Range:
$45,000 – $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for this position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
