About The Role:

This role will report directly to the Platform HR Leader and will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR activities with employees and managers and assist with HR Programs within the Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage local tactical HR activities – questions, issues, support, etc. 

  • Help in recruiting efforts and assist with the scheduling of interviews 

  • Update and maintain internal employee information and files 

  • Act as the local Workday contact and resource for employees and managers 

  • Be the first point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR matters 

  • Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding activities for employees 

  • Support local employee engagement initiatives 

  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars 

  • Assist with the implementation of Home Office HR initiatives and programs to provide support to positively drive organizational change 

  • Assist with the implementation of a performance management system that includes supporting performance development plans and employee development programs 

  • Prepare and deliver new employee orientation including reviewing benefit programs, policies, time tracking, etc.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with a demonstrated attention to detail

  • Successfully works independently and collaboratively, depending upon the specific needs of the tasks

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

  • Professionally and effectively communicates, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to actively listen

  • Must have strong ability to problem-solve to help address issues or refer them for assistance

  • Enjoys a high degree of interaction with team members, and consistently demonstrates high motivation, positive behavior, sense of urgency, and works to achieve goals and objectives

  • Ability to establish credibility, develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders through ethics, integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect, and influence others

  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with experience collaborating efficiently in M365 (OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint)

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or similar discipline or the recognized equivalent in education and experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working in HR as a Coordinator or equivalent role, with some Generalist experience desired

  • Current PHR/SHRM designation or equivalent preferred
