About the Job
Position Summary:
Hitachi Astemo Americas, Inc. Findlay, Ohio location is a Tier 1 supplier of brake systems for automotive and non-automotive applications. As the HR Assistant Manager you will report to the HR Manager and work with a team of HR professionals in a high-volume work environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Payroll Processing-back up
- Benefit Management
- Code and track invoices and expenses for the HR department
- Contributes to team effort by cross training and helping wherever needed
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
- Support daily requests
- Work on Business improvements objectives outlined as personal business plans
- Recruitment of Hourly and Salary staff
______________________________________________________________________Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in similar manufacturing role
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel
- Strong detail oriented and accuracy of work
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities and situations without a loss of effectiveness
- Ability to work in a small office
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Occasionally able to work outside of normal hours as needed to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independent with little supervision
- Experience leading/supervising a team

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business
- Automotive manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of ADP HRIS system
Experience working for a self-insured company
