The HR Coordinator, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Analytics, is responsible for recruiting, interview coordination, and onboarding of new hires.  Will partner with the human resources and operations departments to ensure all full time and temporary positions are filled in a timely manner to achieve operational goals. Conduct or coordinate all aspects of new hire orientation.  This position will also coordinate internal job postings, track training completion and effectiveness and disseminate related reporting on a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis. Other human resources responsibilities may be required as assigned.

Duties

  • Partners with supervisors, managers, and human resources to determine staffing needs and execute recruiting strategies to ensure staffing targets are met.
  • Post all positions and manage requisitions moving candidates through hiring process in an efficient manner.
  • Conducts prescreen phone interviews.
  • Partners with supervisors, managers, and others to schedule on-site interviews and tours.
  • Places advertisements and other forms of recruitment tactics.
  • Makes verbal and written job offers in Workday.
  • Guides candidates through the post offer, pre-hire process.
  • Schedules orientations with all new hires.
  • Partners with temporary employment agencies to ensure temporary staff is available as needed.
  • During periods of temporary employment needs tracks the number of temporary staff on-site and communicates with agencies.
  • Posts internal union job bids and coordinates movement within the plant for successful bidders.
  • Assists in posting and selection of weekly overtime for union employees.
  • Acts as a backup to other HR and administrative duties, as needed.
  • Fosters a positive work environment and assists with employee engagement activities.
  • Collaborates with payroll and benefits, EHS, and management for successful onboarding of employees.
  • Provides data and reports to HR and plant leadership to support fact based, data driven decision making regarding recruitment and selection, training progess, completion, and effectiveness.
  • Manages LMS, updating courses as needed, and providing weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Actively engages in HR departmental projects and process improvements..
  • Maintains Human Resources related records ensuring confidentiality and limited access according to procedures.
  • Promotes a safe work culture.
  • Ensures legal compliance with all federal and state regulations applicable to recruitment, selection, and training. Monitors processes for compliance, posts notices, maintains records, and recommends changes necessary to achieve compliance.
  • Assists other activities and programs, such as employee recognition, company events, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of recruitment, selection, and onboarding systems, policies, and practices
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Ability to work with others in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Ability to present to groups, including employees and management.
  • Ability to create, update, and present data from recruiting software and LMS in an easily understandable format.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Power Point
  • Experience or ability to learn HRIS or ATS systems, preferably Workday
  • Experience in a manufacturing, food and beverage environment preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and policies and procedures.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors, and other employees of the organization.
  • Requires math and statistical skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.  Requires ability to compute ratios and percentages and to develop graphs and charts.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
