Role overview & responsibilities

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resources department.  

• Accurately enter and maintain new hire processing in ADP (HRIS system), including entering schedules and electronically filing new hire paperwork. Audit and report discrepancies to ensure compliance. 
• Coordinate and complete verification processes per state and federal regulations. 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Human Resources files, records, and documentation. 
• Provide administrative support to the HR Department, including accurate reporting, communication, and commitment to service. 
• Assist with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and holiday parties.  
• Provide secretarial support by creating, formatting, and printing documents, as well as stuffing envelopes for mass mailings. 
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of Human Resources files and records. 
• Exercise poise, tactfulness, diplomacy, and good interpersonal skills in order to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations. 

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience, preferred. 
• Experience in ATS or HRIS systems, a plus. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Associate degree (2-year college or technical school), preferred.
