Human Resources (HR) Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management
  • Minimum1 years experience in HR
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated experience with HR metrics
  • Soft Skills In Employee Relations
  • Recruitment experience is not required
  • Knowledge of HR and databases
  • Data Entry & Management Proficiency
  • Basic medical office/health agency knowledge
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Basic Accounting knowledge including processing payroll

Human Resources (HR) Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for both Dayton & Cincinnati locations, managing all HR functions and responsibilities across a combined workforce of under 100 employees
  • Ability to travel between both the Dayton and Cincinnati locations
  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Develop and maintain protocol and timeline for new hires
  • Partner in the recruitment and selection process for employment based on staffing needs
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Responsible for operational and technical HR duties
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high-performance
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide support as requested
  • Ensure legal compliance with all policies and regulations including but not limited to, accounting, confidentiality, unemployment claims, workers compensation, and leave of absence throughout human resource management
  • Maintain all accounting and HR records, invoices, and files

HR Coordinator Schedule & Benefits:

  • Mon - Fri 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm
  • Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO.
  • Continuing Education Reimbursement.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management
  • At least 1 year of human resources experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HR metrics
  • Employee relations skills
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Data entry and data management proficiency
  • Basic medical office or health agency knowledge
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge, including payroll processing
  • Recruitment experience
