- Estimated annual base pay: Human Resources Business Partner I - $61,520 (minimum) - $76,900 (midpoint) - $92,280 (maximum)
- Estimated annual base pay: Human Resources Business Partner II - $77,200 (minimum) - $96,500 (midpoint) - $115,800 (maximum)

The Human Resources Business Partner provides direct support to leaders and members on a wide variety of Human Resources related business issues that impact the assigned client group(s) as well as Woodward as a whole. The Human Resources Business Partner acts as a key company resource by assessing business and client needs, and by adapting Human Resources practices, processes, procedures, and services in response to those needs.
What You Will Be Doing
- Strategic planning: Responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives. They analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Talent management: Manage talent acquisition, retention, and development. They work closely with hiring managers to identify talent gaps and develop recruitment strategies and manage the performance management process to ensure employees are meeting expectations.
- Employee relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and escalation procedures. They work closely with managers and employees to resolve issues and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Onboarding and orientation: Participate with Learning in developing and delivering onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure they are fully integrated into the organization.
- Compliance: Responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to HR, including labor laws, employment standards, and health and safety regulations. They work closely with legal counsel to ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with all applicable laws.
- HR analytics: Responsible for analyzing and reporting on HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. They work with People Analytics to develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to provide senior management with insights into HR performance and trends.
- HR administration: Responsible for supporting HR Operations in providing administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR reports, and coordinating HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required
- Human Resources Business Partner I: Less than 2 years of experience in an HR related field or internship experience required
- Human Resources Business Partner II: 2 or more years progressively responsible professional HR Generalist experience required
- Strategic thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Business acumen: Should have a good understanding of the business operations and financials to align HR strategies with business goals.
- HR knowledge: Thorough understanding of HR best practices, policies, and procedures, and stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and laws.
- Talent management: Strong talent management skills, including talent acquisition, development, and retention.
- Employee relations: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations issues effectively.
- Coaching and mentoring: The ability to coach and mentor employees to help them reach their full potential.
- Change management: Experience in managing change effectively, including organizational restructuring and culture change.
- Data analysis: Strong analytical skills to analyze HR metrics and data and provide insights to senior management.
- Project management: Experience in managing HR projects effectively and delivering results within the required timelines.
- Influence and negotiation: Excellent influencing and negotiation skills to work with stakeholders effectively.
