As an HR Business Partner, you will provide Human Resources guidance and support to employees and leaders in one or more assigned business units. This role will partner with leaders across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will develop and maintain an effective understanding of the business unit’s operations, financial position, culture and talent. This role is essential in executing our people initiatives and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

What you’ll do
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, engagement, morale and productivity.
- Be a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on workplace issues.
- Provide performance and development guidance to employees and leaders, coaching, career development, performance management, disciplinary action.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Partner with leaders to define and plan hiring needs.
- Provide direction and input on business unit restructures and workforce planning.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, as well as Company policies and procedures; provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Analyze talent, workforce and engagement data, identify trends and opportunities and propose solutions.
This might describe you
- Previous experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
- HR business partner experience in a remote work environment; experience supporting remote call center employees a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of the broad range of HR disciplines, such as compensation, recruiting, workforce planning, organization and team effectiveness, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management and talent development.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of an organization's structure, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and HR policies and administrative practices.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations and policies.
- Highly responsive, action and solution-oriented, excellent problem solving, judgment, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate, improvise, multi-task, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective use of mainstream computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

- This position can be worked as remote position within the United States.
- Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
