Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. 

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an HR Business Partner located in Milpitas, CA.   Reporting to Site HRBP, the HRBP will be highly visible and will work with a collaborative and inclusive team.  The HRBP will build strong partnerships with site business leaders to develop and deploy strategic planning objectives to build a dynamic organization that delivers significant and sustainable growth.  In addition, the HRBP partner with the local HR team, regional HR team, and subject matter experts to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions and adapt best practices from other sites within the region.

 

What a typical day looks like: 

  • Provide advice and support to business leaders on tactical and strategic HR matters and support compliance policies and its effective implementation.
  • Analyze reporting trends and metrics to develop recommendations, solutions and strategies as appropriate
  • Coordinate and facilitate delivery of cyclical HR initiatives at the Milpitas site to include workforce planning, new hire training, performance review, talent review, succession planning, compensation planning and review.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to enable the achievement of hiring goals.
  • Assist with HR communications and training of managers on new programs, systems and processes as required
  • Be a team player and backup other team members as required to accomplish HR goals & initiatives across the site.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR across all major functions.
  • Self-starter who demonstrates accountability for results.
  • Sound knowledge of Organization Development, Change Management and HR practices.
  • Excellent business acumen and demonstrated competency in business partnership.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior management and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management, process management, analytical and consulting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate globally across boundaries, disciplines, and cultures, especially in an evolving matrix environment.
  • Excellent planning, co-ordination, and organizational skills; strong process orientation
  • Experience supporting a fast-paced manufacturing organization/plant level environment and diverse workforce
  • Solid knowledge of state and federal employment-related laws, regulations, and requirements
  • Employee Relations experience
  • Experience delivering training to Employees/Managers/Supervisors
  • Bilingual is a plus (Vietnamese, Spanish, Filipino)
