Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Employment Type: Temporary, fixed-term employment for 12 months. Any extension or renewal will be at the Company’s sole discretion and subject to business needs, performance, budget approval, and applicable employment requirements.
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a hands-on, people-focused professional responsible for delivering end-to-end HR support across the Asia Pacific region. Working closely with the HR Manager, line managers, employees, and third-party service providers, the HRBP ensures that HR practices are aligned with business objectives, locally compliant, and consistently applied across all countries within the region.
1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
• Manage the end-to-end employee and consultant lifecycle, including onboarding, contract management, payroll coordination, and offboarding.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and contracting agencies to ensure smooth service delivery, including contract renewals, timesheet management, and compliance with agreed terms.
• Maintain accurate HR records in Cornerstone, administer leave tracking, and ensure data integrity for reporting and audit purposes.
• Administer regional insurance programs, including enrolment, renewals, and claims support.
• Support global mobility processes, including cross-location transfers, coordination with third parties on relocation logistics, and alignment with local employment requirements.
2. Compliance & Local Legislation
• Ensure all HR practices, employment contracts, and policies comply with applicable local employment laws and regulations across the region.
• Monitor changes in local labour legislation, employment ordinances, and statutory requirements; provide timely updates to the HR Manager on required adjustments.
3. Business Partnership
• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees, managers, and third-party vendors, providing guidance on HR matters and queries.
• Support the HR Manager in workforce planning, attrition risk management, and succession planning across the region.
• Collaborate with the wider HR team to implement regional initiatives and strategies.
• Advise managers on employee relations matters, ensuring the fair and consistent application of HR policies.
4. Recruitment
• Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process in partnership with hiring managers, third-party vendors or recruitment agencies, and the Corporate HR team.
• Support the development of job descriptions, offer letters, and employment documentation in line with local market standards and company policy.
5. Employee Relations & Engagement
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievances, escalating where appropriate.
• Support HR Manager-led initiatives on employee wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion across the region.
6. HR Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Generate HR reports and analytics (e.g. headcount movement, attrition, leave utilisation) to support business decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and policies.
• Support ad hoc HR projects and initiatives as directed by the HR Manager.
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Experience
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a comparable HRBP or generalist role.
• Broad exposure across core HR functions, with a particular focus on organisational development, change management, and employee relations.
• Experience working across multiple countries within the Asia Pacific region is highly desirable.

Knowledge & Technical Skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in an additional Asia Pacific language is an advantage.
• Sound understanding of HR practices, employment law, and statutory regulations across key APAC markets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems; experience with Cornerstone is an advantage.
• Knowledge of organisational effectiveness principles and best practices.
