About the job:
Drive the design and execution of HR initiatives, including talent management (Orientation, Performance Management, training, new hire onboarding), employee engagement, and organizational development
Provide support to managers on a wide range of HR topics, including employee relations, HR regulations and policies, and performance issues
Oversee the management and progress of local recruitment initiatives and Recruiters
Assists with the development and administration of programs, procedures and guidelines to support Corporate HR and Business priorities
Administers HR policies procedures and programs in service of the HR team
Conducts data analysis for the business to support the implementation of human resource programs processes and services aligned to talent, performance and compensation, organization design, assessments and talent planning
Provides advice and counsel to managers and employees on all performance related issues, including identifying key talent, organizational planning, recognition and rewards, attendance/performance issues, performance improvement and terminations, employee relations issues, and corporate people movement
The total target annual compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $130,000 depending depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
About the ideal candidate:
Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management or Business. Master's Degree and/or CHRL / CPHR Certified HR Professional designation is an asset
10+ years of HR Business Partner experience, specifically in: HR solutions, guidelines and policies
Strong HR knowledge and experience in Ontario employment law & practices
Employment/labor law and policy acumen to problem solve, influence and coach employees and managers to drive higher engagement and performance
Understanding of recruitment fundamentals, including talent mapping, sourcing, screening, interviewing and the selection processes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
