Artera is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the success of multiple departments including Marketing & Communications, Finance & Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Customer Experience. As our HRBP, you will serve as a strategic advisor, collaborating closely with departmental leaders to develop and implement tailored HR solutions that support their objectives while fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement.


In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on a wide range of HR functions. Your expertise will be instrumental in influencing organizational strategy, managing stakeholders, and driving impactful programs that enhance employee performance and retention. Additionally, you will also contribute to the development of People Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Influence: Collaborate with departmental leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and support, contributing to the development and execution of effective people strategies.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements, mitigating risks and promoting a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Learning and Development: Support learning and development initiatives, including upskilling programs for new managers and facilitating continuous learning opportunities for employees.
  • Systems Thinking: Apply a systems thinking approach to HR strategies and initiatives, considering the interconnectedness of various departments and processes within the organization. Analyze complex organizational systems to identify opportunities for improvement and drive holistic solutions that align with business objectives.
  • People Programs: Play a key role in the development, implementation, and ongoing support of various people programs such as performance development, employee engagement, compensation planning, etc.
  • Organizational Support: Provide support during organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication throughout the process.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks related to HR operations, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive employee information, investigations, and employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies. Safeguard the confidentiality of employee data and discussions, demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field *additional experience in lieu of a degree is also accepted 
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive change initiatives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
  • Ability to thrive in a lean team environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

LOCATION

Artera values in-person collaboration and is currently hiring in the following US cities: Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Kansas City, and Philadelphia (Wayne). 


Artera HQ is in Santa Barbara, CA, and we have an additional US office located in Philadelphia (Wayne), PA. If you live in the Santa Barbara or Philadelphia area, your role will be hybrid and you will be required to work out of your designated office location 3 days a week, unless otherwise noted in the job requirements. 


If you live in Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, or Kansas City, your role will be remote to start. As our team continues to grow in these cities, Artera will be considering opening offices in these locations. Once that happens, you will be required to work out of your designated office location 3 days a week, unless otherwise noted in the job requirements.

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

Our Santa Barbara HQ, Philadelphia and Budapest offices are currently hybrid. We also hire in LA-area, SF/Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Seattle and Kansas City areas. We do not currently have offices there, but are looking to that in the future
