Human Resource Assistant
Job SummaryThe Human Resource Assistant provides administrative support to the HR department and assists with daily human resource operations. This role helps with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Support new employee onboarding and orientation
Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, and termination paperwork
Assist in processing payroll information, time sheets, and benefits documentation
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Help organize training sessions, meetings, and employee engagement activities
Ensure HR files and records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with company policies
Assist with performance review documentation and HR reports
Must travel to Philadelphia 1 time per week.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Previous administrative or HR experience is an advantage
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with HR software or HRIS systems is a plus
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
