Position Overview:

The Human Resources Assistant is primarily responsible for maintaining the HRIS – UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready system.  Providing administrative support to the HR Manager with all HR processes, hiring, I-9, E-Verify processing, employee leaves of absence, employee maintenance, Time and Attendance and benefits enrollment in UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready, and general HR administration. Provides administrative support to the Recruiting, Accounting and Payroll departments.  Reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Assigned Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the HR Assistant will be Kronos/Workforce Ready Management and will oversee the following:

  • Maintaining the UKG Modules being utilized and implement use of others
  • Workflow maintenance and implementation for many types of manual processes and notifications set up for payroll and benefit purposes
  • Managing open enrollment and updating all benefits & TPA’s
  • Maintaining 90-day performance evaluations and annual reviews
  • Maintain onboarding streamlined processes for newly hired candidates
  • Provide UKG/Kronos training via PowerPoint and live sessions
  • Updating employee changes in Kronos and Adaxes (the IT platform)
  • Management of time off and timesheets in Kronos
  • Running I9s, through E-Verify for new hires
  • Kronos Help Desk
    • Provide various reports for Managerial staff
    • Assist employees with UKG/Kronos employee changes, issues, time off overrides, benefits questions

Other duties include the following:

  • Assisting the HR Manager with facilitating new hire orientation
  • Vouchering Vendor Billing
  • Case management/troubleshooting in UKG/Kronos, data feeds, etc.
  • Crosschecking 401K deductions, distributing quarterly eligible paperwork via Kronos and ensuring all forms are complete
  • Collecting EEO information from trades new hires packets for yearly federal reporting and running EEO reports
  • Assist with maintaining accurate employee HR and Benefit files

Requirements
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Administration preferred. 
  • Minimum 1– 3 years Human Resources experience with UKG/ Kronos Workforce Ready HRIS System is a must
  • Experience with benefits coordination strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail is a must with ability to multi-task. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) is required, and strong understanding of confidentiality is a must.

Salary Range:

$60,000-$75,000

F.H. Paschen reserves the right to offer the selected candidate or applicant an hourly rate or salary at an appropriate level to be set and determined by the employer that is commensurate with the applicant's qualifications, experience, education, skill training, certifications, or seniority.
