TeleSolv is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide disciplined, detail-oriented support for Government human resources operations. The Human Resources Assistant will review Official Personnel Folders and other records to validate Service Computation Dates, perform calculations, maintain hard copy and electronic HR case files, research basic HR policies and procedures, and support personnel and pay processing activities. This role requires sound judgment, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently in support of high-quality HR service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Review Official Personnel Folders and other records to validate Service Computation Dates and perform related calculations.
- Maintain hard copy and electronic HR case files, including research materials related to precedence and case law.
- Coordinate with HR staff regarding submission of case-related materials and Requests for Personnel Actions.
- Research basic HR policies and procedures.
- Review and maintain records, scan documents, input data into electronic files and databases, and extract data for reporting purposes.
- Assist staff with processing transactions to update or change personnel actions.
- Provide assistance with problem resolution activities in support of personnel and pay processing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of experience performing HR support services similar to those listed in the position responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of EmpowHR and National Finance Center systems.
- Skill in independently coding and processing personnel actions in accordance with the Government’s Guide to Processing Personnel Actions.
