Position Summary:

Provides Human Resources support in various areas of recruiting and recordkeeping. 

The staffing of the Summit Medical Center is based on a teamwork concept. Employees may be cross-trained in other administrative areas and may be expected to perform duties other than their normal ones as staffing and patient needs change.

Responsibilities:

1.         Maintains established policies, procedures and objectives.

2.         Prepares recruiting advertisements and updates website as needed.

3.         Processes employee changes in Paycom as needed. 

4.         Assists with preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll.

5.         Assists with pre-employment screening. 

6.         Assists with new employee orientation which includes hospital orientation and employee benefit enrollment.

7.         Establishes and maintains employee files and records on an ongoing basis including electronic records.

8.         Manages contract employee records, including onboarding and education.

9.         Assists with salary surveys, audits, and benefits administration.

10.       Maintains confidentiality of employee and center-related business.

11.       Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with center employees.

12.       Documents concisely and accurately on all records or documents as indicated by policy.

13.       Participates in Quality Assessment activities as directed for the continuous improvement

14.     Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

15.       Attends meetings as required.

16.       Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

 








 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma.
  2. Previous office management experience.
  3. Must be alert, honest and of good character.
  4. Prior Human Resources experience preferred.
  5. Knowledge in payroll systems and functions.

  1. Ability to frequently utilize full range of motion, including crouching, stooping, reaching bending and twisting.
  2. Ability to constantly utilize manual dexterity.
  3. Ability to see and hear.
  4. Ability to understand simple written and verbal instructions.
  5. Ability to solve simple problems.
  6. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

Category 3-No occupational exposure

Skills Required

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous office management experience
