We perform resiliency services, including vegetation management and utility line clearing for the Puerto Rican power grid. Ceres Caribe is also nationally recognized for creating natural parks and an aviary center on the island. The company is expanding its efforts to assist in securing the power grid for the Island.

What We Are Looking For

The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and operational support for Human Resources and office functions. This role plays a key part in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, document control, and employee communications. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

What You Will Do

  • Support recruitment efforts by reviewing candidates, conducting pre-screenings, scheduling interviews, and tracking open positions.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities, including offer letters, hiring documentation, background verifications, and training requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and update employee records within company systems and databases.
  • Monitor employee certifications, licenses, credentials, and required training records.
  • Assist with audits and compliance requirements, including I-9, MVR, DOT, and personnel file documentation.
  • Manage physical and electronic filing systems and ensure accurate document retention.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing communications, correspondence, and shipments.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, letters, presentations, and other business documents.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and support day-to-day office operations.
  • Manage documentation requests through various administrative and governmental platforms.
  • Assist with employee performance review tracking and HR-related administrative processes.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in administrative, office support, or Human Resources functions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing confidential employee and company information.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, digital document management platforms, and administrative databases.
  • Experience supporting utility, construction, disaster recovery, or field operations environments.

What to Expect

This position primarily works in an office environment supporting Human Resources and operational teams. Daily responsibilities include employee interactions, document management, onboarding activities, compliance tracking, reporting, and coordination with multiple departments. The role requires strong attention to detail, frequent use of computer systems, and the ability to shift priorities based on business needs. Occasional local travel may be required to support hiring events, employee onboarding activities, or administrative errands.

Physical Requirements and Environment
