Objective:
The HR supervisor would be responsible for assisting with recruiting functions and retention of employees, specifically on boarding. Promote a positive culture with new employees.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Recruiting activities for various locations
· Participation in production on-farm development
· Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel,
· Conducts new-employee orientations; monitors mentor program, writes and places advertisements.
· Assists with various projects.
· Schedules for meetings and interviews as requested by HR Director.
· Ability to speak Spanish is a must.
· Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED Required
· Farm background with swine experiences preferred
· Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
· Effective time management to meet deadlines
· Detail-oriented
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required.
Work Environment
· Office setting
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Ability to attend and participate in meetings of various lengths
Additional Requirements:
· Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to work and attend meetings
· Travel as needed to various locations
