We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our employees and leadership team through benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations. This role requires strong knowledge of employment laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
Compensation Overview
Compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000
Key Responsibilities
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, life events, and open enrollment.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit questions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable benefits regulations.
Workers' Compensation
- Manage workers' compensation claims from start to resolution.
- Coordinate with employees, managers, medical providers, and insurance carriers.
- Support return-to-work and modified duty programs.
Unemployment Claims
- Respond to unemployment claims and hearing requests.
- Maintain documentation and partner with managers on claim responses.
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and workplace issues.
- Conduct employee investigations and assist with conflict resolution.
- Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
Broker & Vendor Relations
- Maintain relationships with benefits brokers and insurance carriers.
- Assist with benefit renewals, compliance, and vendor communications.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration, workers' compensation, unemployment, and employee relations.
- Working knowledge of federal and Colorado employment laws.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
