Job Description

Rockwell Automations is looking for a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP), Southeast Asia to be based in our, Singapore office.

Reporting to the Manager, Senior Human Resource Business Partner, you will provide strategy to align our goals with Rockwell Automation policies, process, and programs. This will be achieved by driving organizational effectiveness, leading change management, organization development, and delivering talent effectiveness programs.

You will demonstrate functional expertise and will coach and advise business leaders, while supporting them to create and maintain a positive work environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR Managers, CoEs, and leaders at a local level to bring value and support to the business through:
    • Coaching
    • Corrective action issues
    • Employee development
    • Compliance programs
    • University relations programs/activities
    • Performance management, including involuntary terminations
    • Assist managers with communication for important changes
  • Foster an inclusive culture by supporting the Workforce Engagement initiative
  • Provide feedback to HR Services and CoEs to deliver continuous improvement and consistency to all employees.
  • Local deployment support of HR programs (ex. Implementing new payroll methods locally, new HCM system, launching new CoE program, others).
  • Deliver HR training activities provided by the COEs or HR Services to managers and employees.
  • Partner with Legal and our Ombuds program on execution employee investigations
  • Ensure, when site specific, all local policies and procedures are up to date along with any transition needed according to local legal requirements or organization change.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Degree holder with professional qualifications in HR Management or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of working experience in human resources
  • In depth knowledge of HR functional programs including but not limited to:
    • Talent Development
    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Succession Planning
    • Leadership Review
    • Organizational Development
    • Diversity and Inclusion
    • Change Management
    • Workforce Planning

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Prior work experience in global technology company
  • Understand of SEA region

Skills Required

  • Degree holder with professional qualifications in HR Management or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of working experience in human resources
  • In-depth knowledge of HR functional programs: Talent Development, Compensation and Benefits, Succession Planning, Leadership Review, Organizational Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Change Management, Workforce Planning
  • Experience coaching leaders, managing performance processes including involuntary terminations, and handling corrective action
  • Experience partnering with Legal and conducting employee investigations (Ombuds involvement)
  • Experience with local deployment of HR programs, HCM/payroll implementations, and delivering HR training
  • Based in Singapore office and able to follow hybrid on-site expectations
  • Prior work experience in a global technology company
  • Understanding of Southeast Asia (SEA) region
