The Role

Department:47100 HR Operations

Job Description:Provides consultative leadership on business challenges and associated people and organizational implications. Partners with management of assigned areas to advise on HR-related matters, including organizational design, talent management, human capital metrics, staff engagement, performance management, total rewards and change management. This role serves as an integral member of the management team, providing strategic thought leadership and representing management needs to the collective HR community. Responsible for championing HR initiatives within area. Collaborates with functional HR experts to leverage their knowledge as appropriate. Responsible for addressing employee relations matters and day-to-day collective bargaining administration as applicable. Business partners in level II roles provide support to leaders at all levels of the organization. In a level II role, business partners are expected to provide input and guidance to other members of the HR and leadership teams, proactively identify opportunities and work on projects with moderate to high complexity, risk and scope. In this role, business partners will be asked to lead projects, identify opportunities and develop recommendations for improvements.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR management or related field
Experience
3 years’ HR experience in roles of progressive and varied responsibility
3 years’ experience in a generalist role preferred

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

SPHR or PHR preferred

$73,299.20 - $109,948.80
