The Opportunity
At Hitachi Energy, we’re looking for a driven and analytically-minded Hub Installed Base Manager – Europe to take ownership of one of our most strategic growth areas. This is a high-impact role combining European-level responsibility with direct responsibility for the Southern European cluster — spanning Spain, Portugal, Italy and France. As such, the preferred location for this role is in one of our key locations within these countries.
You’ll play a pivotal role in unlocking the full potential of our installed base, turning data into insight and insight into action. If you love getting into the detail, spotting patterns others miss, and using data to shape commercial strategy, this is a role where you can truly make your mark.

How You’ll Make an Impact
In this role, you’ll sit at the heart of our installed base strategy, bringing a strong data-driven mindset to everything you do:
- Take ownership of installed base management across Europe, with a key focus on the Southern European cluster (Spain, Portugal, Italy, France)
- Deep dive into data: cleansing, structuring and continuously improving data quality to enable accurate, actionable insights
- Analyse performance trends across the installed base, identifying risks, opportunities, and untapped growth potential
- Turn data insights into commercial action; partnering with sales, service and product teams to drive cross-selling, upselling and lifecycle value
- Build strong relationships with key customers, ensuring we maximise satisfaction and proactively address future needs
- Promote adoption of upgrades, services and new features to increase value across the installed base
- Act as the go-to expert for installed base topics across the hub, providing insight and guidance to stakeholders
- Deliver clear, data-led reporting and recommendations to senior leadership
- Shape and influence best practices, tools and methodologies for installed base management across Hitachi Energy
Your Background
We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, commercially aware, and genuinely passionate about working with data:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Marketing or similar (Master’s preferred)
- Proven experience (5+ years) in installed base management, customer success, product management or a highly analytical commercial role
- Strong track record of working with complex datasets; with a genuine interest in digging into data and making sense of it
- Experience translating data insights into business decisions and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and value optimisation
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders across different countries and functions
- Highly analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional, international team
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and data/reporting platforms
- Willingness to travel across the region as needed
