Job Overview:
The HSES Specialist applies in-depth knowledge of HSES management systems and assurance processes to support both site and business functions.
The role will primarily focus on:
- HSES system governance
- Audit execution and coordination
- Compliance monitoring and reporting
- Documentation management
The candidate must be comfortable balancing system-based responsibilities with field verification activities within a fabrication yard or project environment.
ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:
- HSES System & Assurance
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HSES Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SMK3).
- Ensure all HSES documentation, procedures, and records are maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance with internal and external HSES standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Audit & Compliance (CORE FOCUS)
- Participate in and support internal and external HSES audits (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SMK3).
- Prepare, review, and manage audit documentation including:
- Audit plans
- Audit reports
- NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Corrective and preventive action tracking
- Monitor and report progress of audit findings and ensure timely closure.
- Support audit readiness and coordinate with stakeholders for audit activities.
- Governance & Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of HSES compliance reports and management review inputs.
- Ensure HSES data and documentation are controlled, updated, and accessible within the system.
- Support development and improvement of HSES procedures and governance frameworks.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in HSE or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSES Management System, Assurance, or Audit roles (beyond field-based HSE execution).
- NEBOSH certification (highly preferred).
- Proven experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, including implementation, maintenance, or auditing activities.
- Demonstrated experience in SMK3 implementation and/or auditing in line with Indonesian regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on involvement in HSE audit processes, including:
- Audit preparation and execution
- Management of audit documentation and records
- Monitoring, reporting, and closure of audit findings (NCRs / CAPA tracking)
- Strong understanding of HSES governance, compliance, and assurance processes, with the ability to manage and control HSES documentation systems effectively.
- Experience working with integrated management systems (IMS) and supporting compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze audit results, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Certified Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001) and Ahli K3 Umum (AK3U) are highly preferred.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, or fabrication yard environments is advantageous.
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken).
