SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Join our dynamic team as an HSEQ Senior Engineer you will be Contributing and advising on specialist matters regarding HSEQ within a company, to ensure that Jotun operates in a safe way within current applicable regulations .
This position is based in Freha and reports directly to the HSEQ Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the Company's HSEQ Policies and procedures to comply with legal and Jotun HSEQ Management System.  

  • Follow up and maintain necessary documentation.

  • Assist the implementation of the HSEQ management system by working closely with the Element Owners. 

  • Contribute and coordinate HSEQ projects within specific specialist areas to achieve demonstrable results

  • Maintain and improve the HSEQ, ISO, and OSHAS system documents, ensuring audits and actions are carried out as required to maintain the company's accreditation to the standards 

  • Deliver HSEQ training to develop employee awareness.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

We are looking for a candidate who have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science, Environmental Science, or Engineering.

  • A mandatory certification in IOSH, NEBOSH, or an equivalent qualification.

  • at least 4 years of experience in HSEQ within the manufacturing industry.

  • preferable to be certified ISO Auditor qualification.

  • Fluency in English with strong communication skills.

  • Proficiency in presentations and PowerPoint skills.
