Since then, SkySpecs has inspected over 90% of US wind turbines and expanded globally, becoming the world leader in understanding turbine blade health. Identifying issues with turbine blades is only the first step. In 2019, SkySpecs launched Horizon, a platform for SkySpecs to offer a multi-layered solution for customers that includes: data collection, wind turbine blade engineering expertise, and a place for all stakeholders to collaborate to manage and analyze massive amounts of data, spot trends, and create plans for high-cost repair campaigns. In 2021, SkySpecs acquired two companies specializing in wind turbine drivetrain monitoring and financial management, further expanding our asset management portfolio. Ultimately, this will help reduce the cost and risk of operations for the industry.

What will you be getting into?

The HSEQ Assurance Analyst supports SkySpecs’ global HSEQ function through data-driven operational assurance and compliance activities. The role reviews inspection imagery and other operational data to identify potential safety concerns and compliance trends, while supporting customer compliance platforms, HSEQ systems, and routine compliance activities.

As HSEQ Assurance Analyst, you will:

Operational Assurance & Analysis:

• Conduct systematic reviews of inspection imagery to assess observable compliance with defined HSEQ requirements.
• Review other operational monitoring data introduced through the HSEQ assurance program.
• Record and analyse assurance findings to identify recurring trends, behaviours and areas of increased operational risk.
• Maintain accurate assurance records, trackers, metrics and dashboards.
• Escalate significant findings, potential non-compliance and emerging trends to the appropriate HSEQ representative for further review.

HSEQ Compliance & Support

• Maintain customer compliance platforms, including ISNetworld, Veriforce, ComplyWorks, Achilles and other customer-specific systems.
• Coordinate the collection and maintenance of HSEQ documentation, records, certifications and supporting evidence.
• Support routine HSEQ reporting, audit preparation, action tracking and management-system activities.
• Maintain accurate HSEQ records and assist with general compliance and administrative activities.
• Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to support continuous improvement

Requirements of the job:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review high volumes of imagery and operational data.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confident using spreadsheets, databases, dashboards and online systems.
• Ability to consistently apply defined criteria and accurately record findings.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a fully remote environment with flexible hours to accommodate work schedules across all North American and European time zones.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous HSEQ, compliance, quality or assurance experience.
• Experience with customer compliance platforms such as ISNetworld, Veriforce, ComplyWorks & Achilles.
• Experience reviewing imagery, telematics or operational data.
• Experience within renewable energy or another safety-critical industry.
• Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
