At Sime Group, safety is at the heart of everything we do. We're seeking an experienced HSE Training Specialist to design, develop and implement engaging training solutions that strengthen workforce capability, support compliance and drive positive safety outcomes across our operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a learning professional who enjoys translating complex technical and safety concepts into practical, high-impact learning experiences. Working closely with operational leaders, safety professionals and subject matter experts, you'll help ensure our people have the knowledge and skills they need to work safely and effectively.
Working closely with HSE teams, operational leaders and subject matter experts, you will:
Design and develop HSE training programs, assessments and learning resources.
Create engaging classroom, workplace and digital learning solutions.
Conduct training needs analyses and identify capability gaps.
Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Manage training data, reporting and compliance records through learning systems.
Support facilitators and stakeholders in the delivery of training programs.
Coordinate the development of learning assets with external providers where required.

What you’ll need:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Qualifications in Education, Training, Safety or a related field.
Experience designing and developing training programs in industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction or similar environments.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Ability to translate complex technical and safety information into practical learning content.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
A passion for continuous improvement and workforce capability development.
