The Opportunity
HVDC is looking for an HSE Specialist to join our HSE team in GI Valves. In this role you will support HVDCs global GI Valves organization with focus on Ludvika Factory, supporting and driving improvements and contribute to a more sustainable future in a global organization with office locations, manufacturing sites, test facilities.

How you´ll make an impact
- Drive and promote a strong HSE & Sustainability culture
- Take on an expert role in the OHS field
- Drive OHS initiatives and follow up on OHS targets
- Train, coach and support managers and employees on OHS actions and compliance
- Analyze and work with global OHS performance, gather data and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
- Work proactive in projects and improvement work globally
- Support compliance with local and international OHS requirements and standards
- Assist with internal and external audits, including ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018
- Perform and support in investigations
Your background
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Occupational Health and Safety, HSE or related field or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience
- Experience of HSE role
- Experience in performing investigations
- Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
- Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
- Competent in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001
- Competent in Swedish and international HSE legislation.
