The Opportunity
Seize the opportunity to take on an expert role, a key position in an organization that puts Health, Safety and Environment first. As Health, Safety and Environmental specialist, you will be part of our HSE team in GI Valves. In this role you will support HVDCs global GI Valves organization, and you will have your main focus on supporting our HVDC Test center and training center in Ludvika.
Your main mission will be to contribute to and support a sustainable environment. Moreover, you will secure continuous improvements within the Health, Safety and Environmental field and cooperate with managers, different test and lab Engineers and different electrical safety specialists.
How you´ll make an impact
- Take on an expert role in Health and Safety and Environment.
- Train, coach and support the Test and Lab organization in Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
- Develop and manage the Health, Safety and Environmental processes connected to Test Center.
- Secure that we comply with laws, instructions and Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental management system ISO 45001, ISO 14001and ISO 50001.
- Implement and follow-up on Health, Safety, Environmental and Energy related plans, KPI:s and continues improvement work.
- proactively, for example by analyzing and communicating lessons learned in the field of Health, Safety and Environment.
- Support during external and internal audits
Your background
- In-depth knowledge and an understanding of Swedish legislation in terms of Health, Safety and Environment.
- Knowledge of management system ISO 45001, ISO14001 & ISO 50001.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
- Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken). A good level of English is an advantage.
- You have Master`s degree from a university in Environmental Management, Occupational Safety/Health or Environmental specialist or related field or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience
- An education in the electrical field is an advantage
- Experience of HSE role
