  • Drive the implementation of global corporate programs including All Well, Planet Care, and Leading Safety, ensuring their integration into daily operations.
  • Design and implement policies and procedures aligned with Brazilian legal requirements and Sanofi’s global HSE standards.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) on HSE, wellness, and sustainability goals to senior leadership.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements across local, state, federal, and corporate regulations.
  • Oversee high-risk activities in collaboration with Workplace Experience, third-party contractors, and operational teams.
  • Lead emergency preparedness and crisis management efforts, including execution and maintenance of the Emergency Response Plan.
  • Manage the Road Safety Program and related coaching processes for safe fleet operations.
  • Conduct HSE training programs for employees and contractors, ensuring awareness, legal compliance, and technical development.
  • Coordinate internal, external, and corporate audits, managing non-conformities and corrective action plans.
  • Identify occupational, environmental, and operational risks and implement effective controls to prevent incidents.
  • Administer the HSE budget and capital expenditures in alignment with the business plan and corporate roadmap.
  • Promote a culture of Ethics and Business Integrity within their teams by serving as a role model and ensuring understanding and compliance with Sanofi’s ethics principles, internal policies, and the codes of conduct applicable to the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Ensure compliance with and foster the implementation of Sanofi’s HSE policies across their teams, including the Road Safety Program, to help prevent workplace accidents, mitigate health risks, promote employee well-being, and reduce the environmental impact of operational activities.
  • Support and advocate for Sanofi’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) strategy and initiatives, ensuring that all employees and partners are treated with respect and given equal opportunities to succeed.
