This position is a 1 year (12 month), 32-40 hours per week position

What You Will Do

• You will ensure that all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented

• You will check that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements 

• You will carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey

• You will help establish the site “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” operation procedures and oversee their application

• You will carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it

• You will assist in implementing and monitoring action relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account.

• You will update and complete Safety Data sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments

• You will review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions

What You Should Have

• You should be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or occupational safety related field (i.e. Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar) OR be an April/May 2025 graduate of one of these types of programs

• You should have the ability to work 40 hours per week from June - August

• You preferably have completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA

Hourly Rate for this role:

Freshman: $16.00

Sophomore: $17.00

Junior: $18.00

Senior: $19.00
