Job Summary:
The HSE Executive will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant work environment within the corporate office. The role involves implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing emergency preparedness, and promoting employee well-being. The position requires collaboration across departments to foster a strong safety culture while driving continuous improvements in health, safety, and wellness practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs specific to the corporate office.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Ensure compliance with national and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Plan, organize, and deliver HSE and wellness training sessions (fire safety, first aid, evacuation drills, etc.).
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate fire and emergency evacuation plans, including drills and safety equipment readiness.
- Maintain updated HSE documentation, compliance reports, and records.
- Drive employee well-being initiatives such as wellness activities and surveys.
- Supporting employees through fitness, counseling, and wellness activities for a balanced work environment.
- Oversee health and safety preparedness, including maintained kits and trained personnel on each floor.
- Collaborate with building management for elevator safety, fire alarms, and security compliance.
- Actively promote a culture of health, safety, and wellness across all levels of the organization.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in corporate environments.
- Excellent analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees at all levels.
- Ability to design, deliver and implement impactful HSE training sessions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
Experience:
- Minimum: 4-5 years of relevant HSE experience (preferably in a corporate/office setting).
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience with expertise in corporate safety and employee well-being programs.
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Management, or related field.
- Professional certifications in HSE (ISO, NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, etc.) would be highly preferred.
