Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced HSE Engineer, who will be based in our site Office.
Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified HSE Engineer with ADNOC approval to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with ADNOC regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
- Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, Sr. HSE officers, HSE officers etc.
- Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
- Broad knowledge and experience in audit processes.
- Competency in SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
- Ability to develop HSE plans, Emergency response procedures/plans.
- Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques.
- Awareness of H2S hazards and control measures.
- Ability to speak, read & write English with good communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering OR Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)
- NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (Subject to approval by ADNOC Group) Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion.
- Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent.
- Incident Investigation techniques.
- Minimum 15 years’ with at least Minimum 3 Years as Lead HSE role in HSE in oil & gas or petrochemical industries, Construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations
Skills Required
- ADNOC approval
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (subject to ADNOC approval)
- Lead auditor certification ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 or equivalent
- Incident investigation techniques / root cause analysis
- Minimum 15 years' total experience with at least 3 years in a Lead HSE role in oil & gas or petrochemical, construction, fabrication, installation or commissioning
- Strong understanding of HSE practices and behavioral safety in Oil & Gas EPC
- Ability to lead a team of HSE professionals
- Sound understanding of HSE Management Systems and legislative requirements
- Broad knowledge and experience in audit processes
- Competency in SSOW (PTW, WMS, Risk Assessment)
- Ability to develop HSE plans and emergency response procedures
- Awareness of H2S hazards and control measures
- English language proficiency (speak, read, write) and strong communication skills
