The HSE Coordinator will support the development and implementation of the HSE framework for the function. This entry level role will provide the opportunity to develop technical expertise and gain practical experience whilst contributing to a broad spectrum of work activity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the development and implementation of the HSE framework, coordinating cross-functionally to drive consistent application and implementation across the business.
- Contribute to strategy to proactively maintain compliance, lead continuous improvement to drive operational effectiveness, efficiency, standardisation and risk reduction across the organisation.
- Bring analytical and critical thinking skills to assist with data trend analysis, help identify potential issues and contribute to action planning that supports continuous improvement.
- Ability to engage stakeholders, share insights, and support program delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities.
- Develop competencies specific to work-scope.
What you need to bring to the role:
- Degree, diploma, or technical equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety from an accredited university or college (final-year students may also be considered).
- Familiarity with fundamental HSE principles, regulation and expectations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office and data analytic capabilities.
- Fluent English and solid communications skills (verbal and written).
- Additional language skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
