We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically savvy HRIS Integration Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will help manage, maintain, and extend our HRIS infrastructure—centered on Workday—with connections to benefits, payroll, and other HR-related systems. You’ll collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT teams to ensure data integrity, streamline processes, and maintain robust, scalable integrations that power the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance integrations between Workday and a variety of connected platforms (e.g., payroll providers, health benefits vendors, retirement plan administration tools, and third-party systems)
- Serve as a subject matter expert in HR systems architecture, focusing on supporting business processes, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring HR data integrity
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve HRIS integration issues, coordinating with both internal technical resources and external vendors as necessary
- Gather requirements from stakeholders to design and implement new integrations or modify existing ones
- Create and maintain clear documentation related to systems configuration, integration flows, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in testing activities for new or modified integrations, including test case creation, QA review, and coordination of user acceptance testing
- Act as a key resource during Workday enhancement projects and support Workday releases as they impact integrations
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes within the broader HR technology landscape
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with integrations in Workday
- 2+ years of experience with security in Workday
- Global payroll integration experience strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of core HR processes and the employee lifecycle
- Experience designing, building, documenting, and supporting HRIS integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, Orchestrate, or Core Connectors
- Familiarity with data formats commonly used in integrations (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV)
- Experience with Workday Web Services and APIs (e.g., WSDL, SOAP, REST)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audience
Salary range $120,000.00- $140, 000.00. Bonus Eligible.
