Job Summary

The Talent Development Manager is primarily responsible for creating, managing and facilitating programs that build the capabilities of our workforce to meet the current and future demands of the business. The successful candidate will be driven and passionate about creating and facilitating impactful training and development programs that strengthen individual skills and competencies, develop management and leadership talent, create a pipeline of successors for critical organizational roles, and determine mediums for delivery (facilitator-led, e learning, webinar, etc.) of all programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Collaborate with managers to assess and identify learning paths and training needs based on gap analysis and team dynamics
  • Design, develop and launch onboarding programs and related materials that embrace different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching, to provide a positive employee experience
  • Design, deliver and lead development initiatives for managers at key transition points in their career
  • Coordinate administrative functions necessary to deliver training programs, including communications, creation of materials, and participation levels
  • Create data and analytics to measure effectiveness of training programs, including on-the-job application of skills learned, employee engagement, etc.
  • Leverage existing technology, including a learning management system (LMS), to foster and promote learning within the company
  • Build relationships with third-party training providers
  • Collaborate with other HR team members on annual project teams
  • Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time

  • Promotes Innovation & Change: Challenges the status quo; encourages people to question existing methods, practices, and assumptions; supports people in their efforts to try new things



Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • 8 years' experience in building and delivering training programs.
  • Leadership development training experience.
  • LMS/LXP administration experience.
  • Experience using instructional methods, training techniques and adult learning process.
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong consulting and relationship management skills
  • Strong instructional design, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent emotional intelligence and influencing skills
  • Experience with effectiveness and development tools such as DiSC, 360 feedback, etc.



Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.



Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
