Job Description

As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating activities related to strategic business initiatives, in partnership with the HR Business Partner. You will provide coordination, accountability and timely communications for projects such as organizational design, talent reviews, and strategic workforce planning. The Senior Project Coordinator will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to manage responsibilities of multiple deployment workstreams, manage calendars and coordinate with appropriate executive assistants, and assist in creating documents, tools, flow charts, etc. You will monitor and report progress against project goals and objectives, as well as identify process improvement opportunities. The Senior Project Coordinator will build strong relationships with key business leaders and internal stakeholders. The Senior Project Coordinator will report directly into the HR Project Management Office, with strong partnership with the HR Business Partner Executives.

Working Environment
Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 5 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • At least 1 year of Project/Program Management work experience
    • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification

Expectations
  • Must live in or around the Kansas City area or near a virtually approved city
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
